Objective
Working with Excellence Collection and their PR firm, helium was engaged to create a campaign that would dispel the negative PR surrounding the Dominican Republic and drive new sales. We focused our efforts on showcasing the real life experiences of guests currently at the resort through social media influencers, demystifying the stigma of the DR and offering a genuine look at an Excellence experience.
Digital and Print Campaign, Marketing, Storytelling
Objective
Working with Excellence Collection and their PR firm, helium was engaged to create a campaign that would dispel the negative PR surrounding the Dominican Republic and drive new sales. We focused our efforts on showcasing the real life experiences of guests currently at the resort through social media influencers, demystifying the stigma of the DR and offering a genuine look at an Excellence experience.
After generating content from 4 travel-based social media influencers, we used their images and video content to create a full print and digital campaign. Within 3-months of digital ads, e-blasts, print ads, and social media content, guest bookings went from 25% occupancy to 75% just prior to the global pandemic.
