Objective
Located in the iconic Hotel Jerome, and Auberge property in Aspen. Colorado, we set forth to develop a brand for their underground speakeasy inspired bar and restaurant.
Inspired by the legacy and dark undertones of the property, it’s macabre ghost stories, and celebrity-driven past, we envisioned a sort of film noir meets femme fatale brand named Bad Harriet—the underground mistress of Hotel Jerome.

The Bad Harriet brand is the embodiment of modern edge meets timeless classic sophistication. Elegant and mysterious. Dark humor paired with dark colors and dark ambiance.
A color palette is inspired by film noir and the iconic femme fatale.
The Bad Harriet brand book was created to set a clear standard in how to maintain key characteristics of the brand for future materials. This includes messaging, logo usage, application, photography and more.
The brand statements are written to embody the foundation of the brand, as well as create a starting point for future messaging.
